2012 was a big year for Chicago. City Hall photographer Brooke Collins was there for it all to ensure that Chicago maintains accurate historical archives and gives the public a closer look into the day-to-day activities of the Mayor. So whether it’s pictures with residents or visiting Presidents, Chicago has a rich tradition of capturing those moments for generations to come. Here are some of our favorites from the past year.
